ACCC calls to end Federal Solar Scheme

Since 2011 close to 700 solar companies have gone out of business leaving 650,000 Australians with no recourse if their systems fail. This proposal for the Federal scheme will encourage ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ companies to take advantage of Australian’s looking for cheaper solar solutions and we are likely to see this number continue to grow at a dramatic rate.
